The first worship service at Eastside Baptist was held September 28, 1969.
On April 1, 2007 Eastside was pleased to welcome Rev. Chris Douglas as our new pastor. Bro. Chris comes to us from Hartland Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.
Our Purpose
Eastside Baptist Church’s purpose is to glorify God through worship as we go into the world to gather people to Jesus Christ and membership in God’s family, to grow them to Christ-like maturity, and to equip them to give God’s love through ministry.
Our Vision
The vision of Eastside Baptist Church is the glory of God, which is our motivation in and through Jesus Christ, with Scripture as our authority and the Holy Spirit as our guide. Using lay people, we are seeking to make disciples through the love of Jesus Christ and are following the Biblical purposes of worship, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship and ministry.
